L'APCIE-10GA est une carte réseau PCIe Gigabit ethernet 10 GbE programmable. Elle supporte l'auto-negociation et sélectionnera automatiquement l'un des 5 débits possibles: 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10 GbE), 5 Gigabit Ethernet (5 GbE), 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet (2.5 GbE), 1 Gigabit Ethernet (1 GbE) ou 100 Megabit Ethernet (100 MbE).

Pour le 10 GbE, un cable réseau Cat6a ou supérieur est requis, pour les débits inférieurs jusqu'à 5 GbE un cable réseau Cat5e est suffisant.
